1. Agreement
By using crypto-florida.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update these terms, and the date above will change when we do.
2. What this site is, and is not
Crypto Florida is an independent informational and research website about cryptocurrency in Florida.
We are not, and do not hold ourselves out as:
- A bank, credit union or deposit-taking institution
- A cryptocurrency exchange, broker-dealer or trading platform
- A money transmitter, money services business or virtual currency kiosk operator
- An investment adviser, financial planner or fiduciary of any kind
- A law firm, tax firm, accountancy practice or provider of professional advice
- Affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the State of Florida, the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, the Florida Attorney General, the IRS, FinCEN, or any other government agency we may reference
We do not custody funds, take deposits, execute transactions or hold assets on anyone's behalf.
3. No advice
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing here is an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy, sell or hold any digital asset or to use any particular service.
Content is general information about how things work, what they cost and what rules apply. It does not take account of your circumstances, objectives, tax position or risk tolerance. For advice on your own situation, consult a licensed Florida professional — an attorney, a CPA, or a registered investment adviser as appropriate.
4. Risk
Cryptocurrency is volatile and speculative. Prices can fall sharply and without warning, and you can lose some or all of the money you put in. Digital assets held on a platform are generally not insured by the FDIC, SIPC or any comparable scheme, and platforms can and do fail — as roughly 156 Florida kiosk machines demonstrated when their operator filed for Chapter 11 in May 2026.
Self-custodied cryptocurrency can be permanently and irrecoverably lost if you lose access to your recovery phrase. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. Never commit money you cannot afford to lose entirely.
5. Accuracy and currency of information
We research carefully, source claims to operators' own publications and official records, and date everything. We nonetheless make no warranty that any information on this site is complete, accurate or current.
This subject changes very quickly. Fee schedules move without notice. Licences are granted, suspended and surrendered. Statutes take effect on future dates and are amended. Machines go offline. A figure that was correct when we checked it may be wrong by the time you read it.
Always verify current fees, limits, availability and licence status directly with the operator and the relevant regulator before you act. Where we cite a licence number, check it yourself on NMLS Consumer Access and with the Florida Office of Financial Regulation.
6. Modelled figures
Where we describe an "all-in" cost for a cryptocurrency kiosk or a comparable estimate, that is our own modelling, combining a published fee with an observed exchange-rate markup. We label it as such. It is an estimate to help you understand a market, not a quotation, and the machine in front of you may differ. Read the on-screen quote before you confirm any transaction.
7. Third-party links and services
This site links to third-party websites, including exchanges, kiosk operators, gift card providers, regulators and news sources. Some of those links are commercial partnerships and we may be paid if you open an account — see our editorial policy.
We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, products, terms, privacy practices, security or conduct. A link is not an endorsement or a warranty. Your dealings with any third party are between you and them. All external links on this site are nofollow.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crypto Florida, its operators and contributors are not liable for any loss or damage — including trading losses, lost profits, lost assets, lost data, or consequential or indirect loss — arising from your use of this site, your reliance on any information here, or your dealings with any third party linked from here.
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free availability.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
- Reproduce substantial portions of our content without permission or attribution
- Scrape, mirror or systematically harvest the site in a way that burdens our infrastructure
- Misrepresent yourself as affiliated with, or authorised to speak for, Crypto Florida
- Use our name or content to lend credibility to a financial product or service
10. Intellectual property

Third-party names, trademarks and logos referenced are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary only, which does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and the courts of Florida shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
